Giving a Voice to the Power of Distance Learning

“It is one thing to recognize a problem exists, but the knowledge that it can be understood and often prevented, places a responsibility upon all to play a more active role in confronting it. What will your role be?…”

…and so begins 3V Learning’s new course Youth Bullying: Understanding to Prevention, and thus enters another player into the bullying prevention arena. So what makes the 3V approach different? We’re glad you asked.

Along with many other wheels, the internet seems very caught up in reinventing the way we learn and gather information. If one is determined, the same bodies of information we previously absorbed over the course of quarters, semesters, years…can now be a part of our private library of knowledge in a much shorter time. The miles traveled to seek information, searching weeks or months for that certain book or person that holds the answers we seek – these efforts and countless others have shrunk to seconds and the simple practice of typing a question into a box. Imagine the collection of expressions that have have all but disappeared in a mere 17 years since the internet switch was flipped…”I need to look that up next time I’m at the library.”; “Do you have any idea who invented the….?”

So now as countless times before, new technology sets its sites on old problems. 3V Learning, a new and dedicated player in the distance learning world, has taken up the cause of youth bullying prevention with the launch of its newest major course module and believes its approach may hold much of the answer. Extensive research into the most crucial areas of the issue has allowed 3V’s Research and Development Team to create a thorough module that aims to educate and motivate.

With this injection into the anti-bullying culture, 3V has gone where the root of so many human problems lie – in thinking patterns, and they have laid out a simple and powerful plan for disrupting and changing those patterns where they relate to bullying and unhealthy peer relationships. Schools and organizations who embrace the notion outlined by 3V – that only one method can end youth bullying child by child – will reap great and lasting benefits from Youth Bullying: Understanding to Prevention.

If you are a school or organization, know that very few if any other outlets offer an entirely computer based platform that’s as simple as assigning access to your group members, logging on and beginning. We’ll ask the question again…what makes 3V’s approach to the youth bullying problem different? In addition to the powerful methods infused in our training and outlined here, schools and many organizations will find it refreshing that there is no separate and expensive array of materials such as DVD’s, manuals, textbooks and the complicated planning to implement all of it into the school structure. 3V simply connects your staff and personnel to a powerful body of training that will empower and motivate them to change their students’ ways of thinking about bullying and peer relationships. How? Because their own ways of thinking will be changed as well.
